Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AI Guru, a Slack and Microsoft Teams-native AI upskilling platform operated by Kaleja Trainings & Consulting, Benjamin Kaleja, Fechnerstr. 24, 10717 Berlin, Germany ("we", "us", "our", "AI Guru").

By accessing or using AI Guru, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

2. Service Description

AI Guru provides AI fluency training delivered through Slack and Microsoft Teams, including:

  • A structured 12-week AI fluency certification program
  • Daily micro-lessons ("espresso units")
  • Ongoing mastery content, prompt libraries, and tool guides
  • Basic team progress tracking and admin dashboard
  • Optional Compliance & Insights Pack with EU AI Act training, advanced analytics, and exportable reports

3. Definitions

  • "Customer": The organization or individual who purchases a subscription.
  • "Learner": Any individual granted access to AI Guru through a Customer's subscription.
  • "Subscription": The paid access plan selected by the Customer.
  • "Workspace": The Customer's Slack or Microsoft Teams environment where AI Guru is deployed.

4. Account Registration and Access

4.1. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

4.2. The Customer is responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of their Slack or Teams workspace
  • Managing which users have access to AI Guru within their team
  • Ensuring Learners comply with these Terms

4.3. Account credentials may not be shared with unauthorized users or third parties.

4.4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscription and Pricing

5.1. Pricing Structure: AI Guru uses flat annual pricing based on team size:

  • 1-20 Learners: €799/year
  • 21-50 Learners: €1,499/year
  • 51-100 Learners: €2,499/year
  • 101+ Learners: Custom pricing

5.2. Add-ons: The optional Compliance & Insights Pack is available for €249/year.

5.3. Free Trial: New Customers may receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required for the trial period.

5.4. Billing: All subscriptions are billed annually in advance.

5.5. Price Changes: We may modify pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Price changes apply to renewals, not current subscription periods.

6. Payment and Refunds

6.1. Payment is due upon subscription activation or renewal.

6.2. Subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

6.3. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us at hello@getaiguru.app within 14 days of the charge.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy our content or technology
  • Redistribute, resell, or publicly share our content without written permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service's operation or security
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service without permission
  • Misrepresent your team size to obtain lower pricing
  • Allow individuals outside your organization to access the service through your subscription

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All content - including lessons, prompts, frameworks, graphics, and materials - is owned by Kaleja Trainings & Consulting and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

8.2. Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for internal team training purposes only.

8.3. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

9. Data and Privacy

9.1. We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

9.2. We do not store or access message content from your Slack or Teams workspace beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the service (e.g., quiz responses, progress tracking).

9.3. Customer data remains the property of the Customer. We act as a data processor on your behalf.

10. Service Availability

10.1. We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

10.2. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice when possible.

10.3. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party platforms (Slack, Microsoft Teams) or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Support

11.1. Support is available via email at hello@getaiguru.app.

11.2. Customers with the Compliance & Insights Pack receive priority support.

11.3. We aim to respond to support inquiries within 2 business days.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

12.1. AI Guru is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

12.2. We do not warrant that the service will meet your specific requirements or achieve particular learning outcomes, productivity gains, or business results.

12.3. Our content is for educational purposes and does not constitute legal, compliance, or professional advice.

13. Limitation of Liability

13.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13.2. These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, or otherwise).

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kaleja Trainings & Consulting, its officers, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the service.

15. Term and Termination

15.1. Subscription Term: Subscriptions run for 12 months from the activation date.

15.2. Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 30 days before the renewal date.

15.3. Cancellation by Customer: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period; no prorated refunds are provided.

15.4. Termination by Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms. In cases of material breach, no refund will be provided.

15.5. Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to AI Guru and all content will cease. We may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period, subject to legal requirements.

16. Changes to Terms

16.1. We may update these Terms from time to time.

16.2. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect.

16.3. Your continued use of AI Guru after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

17.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

17.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany.

17.3. If you are a consumer within the EU, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AI Guru regarding your use of the service.
